    Hill Country Tour

    Day 1

    Airport - Kandy

    Arrive in Sri Lanka at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Complete all arrival formalities, and meet us in the arrival hall. You would depart by surface direct from the airport to the hill city of Kandy. The drive through attractive countryside and towns would take about 4 hours depending on time of day and traffic. .In the Afternoon proceed for a City Tour including the Upper Lake Drive - a place where one could have a bird's eye view of the city below, In the Evening watch a Cultural Performance by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including devotional "Fire Walking" and walk across in the star lit night to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha the most important place of worship for Buddhists.

    Day 2

    Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya

    Depart from Kandy and visit on the city outskirts the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Royal Botanical Gardens-147 acres large was built in 1374 by Kandyan Kings as their pleasure gardens. Today it is one of Asia's most exotic Botanical Gardens. Later on leave for the mountains of Nuwara Eliya the heart of Ceylon Tea country.Stop at a working tea factory en-route to witness how Tea is manufactured for world Tea auctions. Return back to Kandy. Dinner and Over night stay is in Kandy..

    Day 3

    Kandy - Pinnawala - Colombo

    Breakfast is in the Hotel.Depart from Kandy for the city of Colombo. En-route visit the unique Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela in time to witness the bathing of the entire elephant herd in the river nearby. Pinnawela - is a unique Elephant Orphanage founded in 1975 as a sanctuary for 7 orphaned baby elephants rescued from certain death in the wild. Today the elephant herd numbers over 100 and Pinnawela attracts visitors from worldwide research institutes and several books are published. In the afternoon city tour in Colombo. Colombo - was a Fort City and military garrison during 450 years of European rule from 1515 - 1848 and foreign influence is reflected in the architecture of old buildings and street names. It is the commercial hub of Sri Lanka today and a cosmopolitan city with global brands and modern amenities nestling alongside nostalgic ancient buildings and sights. Highlights on the Colombo sightseeing tour includes a drive through / past the 'Fort' and 'Pettah, "Cinnamon Gardens", the Independence Square , the Convention Centre, the Colombo Town Hall, the old Parliament etc.

    Day 4

    Colombo - Airport

    Breakfast is at the hotel.
    Check out from the hotel and According to the flight schedule transfer to the Airport for the departure.
